tekVizion Announces Participation in FastLign
Alliance
Systems Integration Firm to Provide FastLign
Certification Testing, Integration and Application Development
to Help Speed Time to Market for Hosted Telephony Services
BOSTON, MA (September 20, 2005) – tekVizion™ PVS,
Inc., the new standard for systems integration, today announced
its participation in the FastLign Alliance, an industry alliance
working to accelerate the adoption of VoIP services by offering
service providers a pre-integrated, pre-tested solution for IP
telephony.
Service providers will be able to purchase licenses for the FastLign
solution, which will provide the building blocks for developing
and delivering Web-based hosted telephony applications. The solution
includes LignUp’s Communications Platform and hosted PBX,
voice mail, unified messaging, and auto attendant applications,
NexTone's Multiprotocol Session Controller (MSC), and Rodopi’s
service activation and billing software.
tekVizion Labs™ will provide interoperability certification
testing of the FastLign solution. In addition to certifying the
initial FastLign reference architecture, tekVizion Labs will provide
FastLign Certification testing to expand service providers’
choices among media gateways, CPE, and other components which
interoperate reliably with the FastLign solution. tekVizion will
also provide integration and custom application development services
to FastLign customers.
The FastLign solution will be integrated with Level3’s
network for backbone network services. Access to the Level3 network
is provided through FastLign aggregators, and FastLign operators
will provide managed solution support. Together, FastLign partners
will make it possible for FastLign customers to access word-class
network capabilities that smaller service providers would ordinarily
find difficult to afford.
