tekVizion Rounds out Management Team with Addition of Terri Albers
Griffin as President
Griffin brings 20 Years’ Experience to Industry
Leader in Specialized Telephony Consulting
PLANO, TX – June 25, 2003 – tekVizion PVS, Inc., the Packet Voice
SpecialistsSM, announced today the appointment of Terri Albers
Griffin to the position of president. In this role, Griffin is
responsible for management of the company, overseeing operations,
finance, and marketing. The addition of Griffin as president is
an important step in the company’s expansion strategy to meet
growing customer demand.
tekVizion™ was founded in 2000 as a developer and integrator
of telecommunications software and services. In 2002, the company
began focusing exclusively on delivering innovative Packet Voice
SolutionsSM that help service providers quickly design,
deploy, and support next-generation telecom services while maximizing
their investment in their legacy systems. tekVizion offers a full
range of services including business and technology consulting,
interoperability testing, integration services, and custom software
development. The staff’s experience spans next- generation and
legacy product development, integration, and support. This unique
collection of knowledge and experience allows the company to help
service providers bridge the gap between circuit and packet-based
technologies in order to create multi-vendor solutions that result
in revenue-generating products and services.
Griffin brings more than 20 years of experience in management,
marketing and engineering to her role as president. tekVizion’s
management team also includes Lee Phillips, chief executive officer,
Sachin Vengurlekar, executive vice president of engineering, Nick
Calautti, executive vice president of professional services, and
Tracy Venters, vice president of marketing.
Griffin and many of the tekVizion employees were key players
in the Sonus Networks’ Open Services Partner Alliance (OSPA) and
the telecom technologies’ INIP Powered lab. These programs, widely
regarded as the industry’s premier partner programs, gained their
reputations by providing the most comprehensive lab environment
for integrating and testing end-to-end, packet-based network solutions
for service providers. Griffin was instrumental in the development
and implementation of these programs while serving as vice president
of marketing at both Sonus and telecom technologies.

held the title of president and CEO, and now as CEO will focus
on setting the strategic direction of the company and business
development activities.
Prior to joining tekVizion, Griffin was director of marketing
for Cisco Systems, Inc., where she utilized her solutions experience
to develop and execute the strategy for Cisco’s southern area.
Before Cisco, she was vice president of marketing for both Sonus
Networks and telecom technologies. Griffin also held the director
of marketing position at ODS Networks, Inc. (now Intrusion.com),
a leading manufacturer of data networking and security products,
as well as EMASS, Inc., a leading developer of specialized storage
management software and libraries. She was also a software engineer
for leading defense contractor E-Systems (now Raytheon Company).
She holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and a minor in computer
science from Stephen F. Austin University in Texas.
