RICHARDSON, TX (March 15, 2006) –tekVizion™ PVS,
Inc., the new standard for systems integration, announced today
that Cisco Systems, Inc., has selected tekVizion as an authorized
testing partner for the Cisco Technology Developer Program for
IP Communications (IPC) solutions.
tekVizion will perform the interoperability testing required
to verify that Cisco Technology Developer Program partners’ and/or
affiliates’ products meet the criteria of the Cisco Technology
Developer Program.
Due to the unique resources and capabilities of tekVizion Labs™,
tekVizion plays a pivotal role in the Cisco Technology Developer
Program. tekVizion Labs is the first verification lab of its
kind to provide independent and objective interoperability verification
and testing services for next-generation VoIP and IMS products.
In addition to testing, tekVizion can provide consulting, integration
and support, and customized application development services
to Cisco Technology Developer Program participants.
The Cisco Technology Developer Program sets criteria for interoperability
testing by independent third parties such as tekVizion Labs and
enables leading product and services firms to deploy innovative
business solutions. The program provides enterprise or service
provider customers with information regarding Cisco Technology
Developer Partner products and services that an independent testing
facility has tested and found to interoperate with Cisco networking
technology.
Cisco Technology Developer Program members include companies
that hold a market leadership position, use Cisco technology,
and share Cisco's strong commitment to customer service. Cisco
Technology Developer Program participants must have their IPC
product tested by an independent third-party lab such as tekVizion
Labs in order to be verified interoperable with Cisco networking
technology. This testing verifies product interoperability for
use with various Cisco software products and network infrastructure
products under the test criteria.
Once Cisco determines that a company has met the test criteria
of the Cisco Technology Developer Program, tekVizion can assist
the partner in the following ways:
- Ensuring the partner understands the scope of the testing
to be performed so the partner is prepared prior to testing
- Offering a state-of-the-art testing lab, centrally located
in the Telecom Corridor© in Richardson, Texas
- Providing the Cisco product expertise to assist the vendor
with understanding the requirements for success
- Providing years of testing and product expertise specific
to the telecommunications VoIP and IMS markets
- Providing additional testing and professionals services to
partners, when needed, to help them succeed in the marketplace
